Welcome to the official Santechco Installation Guide. Mounting your TV securely is essential for both viewing performance and safety. Please read through these step-by-step instructions carefully before starting your installation.

Always verify the weight capacity of your TV mount model against your television’s actual weight.
Never install directly into drywall alone without proper stud reinforcement or masonry anchors.
If you are uncertain about wall construction, electrical wiring, or plumbing behind your wall, please consult a licensed professional installer.
1. Tools Required for Installation
Before you begin, ensure you have the following basic tools ready:
Stud Finder (essential for wood stud installation)
Bubble Level (included with most Santechco mounting packages)
Tape Measure & Pencil
Electric Drill & Drill Bits (wood bit or masonry bit depending on your wall type)
Socket Wrench or Screwdriver Set
Safety Glasses
2. Step-by-Step Installation Process
Step 1: Measure & Determine Mounting Height
Determine the optimal viewing position. For most living rooms, the center of your TV screen should sit at eye level when seated (typically 42 inches from the floor to the center of the screen).
Use a tape measure and pencil to mark the target center location on your wall.
Step 2: Locate Wall Studs or Solid Wall Anchor Points
Wood Stud Walls: Use a stud finder to locate the edges and exact center of two adjacent wall studs. Mark the center of each stud with a pencil.
Concrete / Masonry Walls: Mark the drilling points on solid concrete or brick. Do not drill into mortar joints.
Step 3: Drill Pilot Holes & Secure the Wall Plate
Hold the wall plate against the wall at your desired height, ensuring it is perfectly level using your bubble level.
Mark the hole locations with your pencil.
Drill pilot holes using the appropriate bit size (refer to your product’s specific user manual for bit dimensions).
Align the wall plate and drive the lag bolts securely into the studs or masonry anchors. Do not over-tighten.
Step 4: Attach the VESA Brackets to Your TV
Place your television face-down on a soft, clean surface to protect the screen.
Identify the VESA mounting holes on the back of your TV.
Select the correct screw length and spacer combination provided in your Santechco hardware kit.
Align the left and right TV brackets vertically and tighten the screws firmly with a hand screwdriver.
Step 5: Hang the TV & Lock in Place
With the help of an assistant, carefully lift the TV and hook the TV brackets onto the wall plate.
Engage the safety locking mechanism or tighten the bottom safety screws to prevent the TV from sliding or dislodging accidentally.
Post-Installation Safety Checklist
Level Check: Verify that the TV sits perfectly level across its width.
Cable Management: Route your HDMI and power cables through the integrated cable management clips to avoid tension when swiveling or tilting the arm.
Motion Testing: For full-motion mounts, gently pull, push, tilt, and swivel the TV to ensure smooth motion without pulling on wall anchors.
